Don't know if Davis is limiting the pitchers to a pitch count at this point of the season but five to six innings is about as far as the starters for Lamar have gone so far this year. Buckendorf in to pitch the 7th gives up a lead off walk but a double play and strike out closes out the inning. Going to the 8th, still 2-0 Lamar. I was told the conference office did it to reduce travel during the pandemic. Get this most games in since less teams are playing each other.
