NorthoftheBorder Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Just what did Morgan mean by the adversity the team had to overcome during the week. Does anyone know what happened? Did we lose some kids? Or something else? Quote
NorthoftheBorder Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I have not been able to find any reporting on it so far. Quote
geezer Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I have not seen any reporting either. My guess it is the same adversity that all FCS teams went through with the Covid protocols, which is not any different than the rest of the spring SLC teams plus the Hurricanes last fall. I do not know about the players, but I am fairly sure that Morgan had never dealt with a Hurricane before. I would agree that the players and coaching staff have had more to deal with than the average FCS school. McNeese is in a similar boat, but I think they had considerable more upperclassmen on their team. Quote
puddin tane Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 He mentioned they were short some players. We had a few new guys on the OL. Id like to know why Frithiof isnt playing. Hes huge and was pretty highly touted coming outta high school. Quote
puddin tane Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I saw where the freshman McCarty was not on the 2 deep depth chart for the game after starting the first 2. Don i dont think Brandon Arnold played either. He mighta been the lineman that got knocked loopy last game. Quote
