Sam got another field goal to extend the lead to 55-0. End of the third quarter, Sam has started playing multiple non-starters and Lamar is moving the ball a little. Lamar has a 2nd and two on their own 47 to open the fourth quarter.

Scott completes a 42 yard pass to Jackson to put Lamar on the score board. 13:33 left and the score is now 55-7.

Mercifully time has expired. The game was over a long time ago.

Looks like Pudden will head home early. Lamar offense still does nothing. Punt to Sam. Sam throws deep on the first play, Lamar defense tips the ball two or three times, and Sam comes up with a catch. Sam runs the ball in for a touchdown for a 28-0 lead with 10:14 left in the half.

Watched Air Force game highlight, or as much as I could fore I dozed off.

 

LU looks straight up, 95% AF offense. The only differences are we attempt to a pass a couple times more ( prolly cuz were behind) and AF has rbs carrying the ball instead of tight ends and receivers.

I will give them a little credit. They did at leat attempt to throw a little more in the second half...of course 34 rushing attempts for 26 yards....we are VERY slow to learn. "Hello.....ummm, I dont think we are going to be able to run against them!"

Very slow offensive team, with the exception of the little running back.

 

Receivers look like they are running in mud. Of course, 90% of the time they are tight ends.

Ive had time to reflect a little and have come to a conclusion.

 

I absolutely, positively, 100 percent hate this fricking offense.

Puddin, if the offense was gaining say an average 4.5 yards per carry with the run game and some fifteen to twenty yard passes every series are two you probably would not hate the offense. If the offense was attempting a pass 8 out of every 9 plays and only completing one or two for an average of say five yards. That offense would suck too. And oh yeah the game would take at least another hour and the score would have been much worse. When your offense does not move the ball it stinks. I will give these players a chance to gain experience and see what happens over the next couple of years.

Poor Ole PT is a very disgruntled fan, we all would love a well polished offensive unit and a solid defensive unit. This will be there 5 game, learning new schemes with new players and ones from a previous staff that did not suit his taste. My suggestion is for him to take his offense and method of operation to Coach Morgan, maybe he will use some of his plays!! Then again probably not!! ✌🏻Out🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nah, Morgan will stick with that potent running attack - 34 carries for 26 yards. I cannot wait for Saturday. Maybe 60 carries for 50 yards?!! Edge of your seat excitement from team Ambien!!

not disgruntled with the team at all. they have already passed my win expectations for spring and fall. They are trying and they have some spunk. Dont like the offensive scheme. I find it boring. How many people tune into army, navy, Air Force games to watch the offenses?

 

Maybe you wanna run your TE or dinky WR into the middle of the D. Id prefer to throw to em.

grew up watching the horns, Gilbert, Bertlesen , Street etc run the wishbone. Bored the crap outta me then.
