Skinny1 Posted March 24, 2021 Share Posted March 24, 2021 For the 2nd weekend in a row, Cardinal Baseball will host a 4 game SLC series. Friday at 6pm brings the SELa Lions to Vincent-Beck Stadium. Lions are currently in 2nd place in the conference with a 6-2 record. Cards are tied for 6th place with a 2-2 record. Another pass ball allows runner to go to 2nd base. Next batter walks, runners at 1st & 2nd with no outs. Lamar strikes out next 3 batters to end top half on inning. Cards turn double play to get out of inning. Activity in Lions bullpen after Lamar gets lead off walk. Cards next 3 hitters down in order. geezer Posted March 27, 2021 Share Posted March 27, 2021 One thing seems to be consistent for the Card relievers. At least one of the runners on base when somebody comes in will score. Lions hit sac fly to deep right, runner to 3rd. Next batter hits single to left, runner scores. Next batter flies out to right field to end inning. Bottom of 8th, new pitcher for SELa.
