Looks like at least a little bit of a project. Maybe there is another big coming. his overall stats at South Plains aren't that impressive. Did he play at Orngefield? His bio on the South Plains site looks like he is from overseas.

BIG pickup! Definitely a project (like most big men) but with 4 years to play, he has plenty of time to develop.

Agree, we get an offensive wing and this team could be decent. Do not forget about Cory Nickerson to flourish in a new system of a fast pace offense.

You can coach skills to a tall guy.

You can't coach height to a skilled guy.

 

Brooks is likely going to connect him with a Big Man Camp and make sure he's constantly working on his moves.

 

The guy was a 3-star talent out of HS (whose grade trickled down as he progressed through HS). The fact he has plenty of eligibility left gives time to help build up his skills where he can be the Center on the All-WAC team sooner rather than later.
