Lamar holds on to a 36 -35 lead at the half. One disappointment for me is in the first game it appeared that the Cards were going to be a little more disciplined in the half court offense as the Cards ran a weave up top with plenty of off ball movement, but over the last three games it seems like the players are playing like they did last year, holding the ball too long and whoever has the ball looking for a one on one opportunity that doesn't wind up with a good shot. It doesn't appear that Adams made the trip. Jefferson is a terrible point guard. Lamar on a scoring drought and the lack of a decent inside scorer to date are in trouble again, now down by 10 with eight minutes left in the game.

Another loss, starting the season 0-4 against D1 opponents. I guess the bright side is they didn't fold today after the heartbreaking loss Friday night.

I'm cutting this team some slack because it's a new coaching staff and the team is young. But I was expecting them to be better than what I have seen so far.

Guess I will cut the coaching staff a little slack, but Jefferson, Smith and Harrison combine for 10 of 15 turnovers. That is three experienced players and the lack of movement in the half court offense has to stop. If these guys don't want to get with the type of game Brooks wants to play, Brooks should loose with freshman that will play the game the way he wants it done.

How do you know what type of game he wants to play? There are a lot of teams that either just do a pick and roll are they do TGE one on one isolation type play. I hate it, but it
