geezer Posted December 8, 2021 Share Posted December 8, 2021 Lady Cardinals improve their season record to 3 and 4, getting their first win against a D1 opponent in McNeese. From the stats and what I saw of the game the women need to improve taking care of the ball by reducing their turnovers. Lamar had 21 turnovers, but a good shooting percentage and relatively low points given up from those turnovers enabled the Cards to win the game. Lamar had four players in double figures including a freshman, Davis and a sophomore Dean. Franklin may be starting to turn the corner with the program. Looking at the notes from latest board of regents meeting I found this: Current contract ends April 30, 2023; if extension isgranted, new end date will be April 30, 2025.
