WildCard
So far it looks like Lamar has signed nineteen players including one transfer quarterback and three local area players. First question is any of the area players difference makers? The spring signees start with Pius Njenge. Looked at the highlights for the quarterbacks. Rester's highlights were almost all passing plays. Hope that means something.
geezer
According to the Lamar web site, the Cards signed thirteen players today in addition to the ones signed in December for a total of twenty-nine. The class includes two quarterbacks, one a FBS transfer and one a true freshman. Both of these quarterbacks were excellent passers in high school. Will be interested since both of these quarterbacks were successful passers if it means Lamar may start throwing more next fall.
Skinny1
We also need to get some receivers that can get open and catch the ball. One of my favorite football quotes was from former Lamar coach Larry Kennan: IF THE OTHER TEAM HAS MORE TALENT AND YOU RUN THE BALL, YOU ARE JUST HOLDING THE SCORE DOWN. That seems to have been the game plan the last few years.
PeckEm
That seems to have been the game plan the last few years. Nice to see people posting but no recruiting class is going to help a bit with Morgan at the helm.
