PeckEm Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 So far: Ledet, Nickerson, Harrison, Lincoln Smith Quote
geezer Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Hopefully Smith is going as a grad transfer as next year is a covid year for him. Personally, I like Nickerson's play and he just didn't get enough time to develop. Harrison needs a new location as in my opinion even without the injuries and illness time he missed this year he regressed. Hate for a freshman to leave, but what with the transfer changes what would his attitude be for next year. Ledet showed a little promise by the end of the year, but probably wouldn't have gotten much playing time had it not been for all the injuries. Quote

We shouldn't be that concerned about those transferring from a 2-27 team. Six players, including Smith, were introduced for senior day. Two, Senigaur and Sohail (remember him?), were not seniors in terms of eligibility. That makes nine players gone: Smith, Nickerson, Harrison, Ledet, Jefferson, Roberts, Sohail, Senigaur, and Buster. LU17 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Bring in young players = we suck because we have young players excuse. Seems like I have heard that excuse somewhere in the LU athletic department. Quote

Seven to nine should be enough recruits to find out if Brooks can get recruits that are capable of winning, that is if he can coach a little bit. Senigaur was a walk on I think. Quote

Not concerned at all. Just a topic for conversation. I didn't know Sohail and Senigaur wouldn't be back. I don't understand why Sohail was never really given a chance to play. Anyway, Brooks better recruit 3 and 4 star players because his coaching is lousy. Quote
