Lamar MBB gets a commitment from 6-10 PF

I wonder when we will see a roster for this coming year. Assume no new additions can be shown until after school starts but can the Athletic Dept. remove those who are not planning to return?

The article is dated last August and says there will be no basketball last winter. It also says they were 13-5 before that decision? I don't know what that means.

Nzeakor and Muoka were late additions to recruiting classes and they were the best bigs we have had in a long time

I'm confused is the player announced today, James Spencer, for this year or next. The report sounds like he is coming in this year, but school has already started, and you would have expected both of these guys to have been in Bmt for at least part of the summer.

They are both enrolled at Lamar and eligible for this year.

No problem. A little note about Spencer. He played defensive end on his HS team that went deep in the playoffs.

 

Point being I think James will improve drastically playing basketball year around
