geezer Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Lamar takes on TCU at 7PM in Ft Worth. Should be plenty of film to teach from after tonight. A three or four guard offense can work, but the guards need to be taller than what Lamar has if you expect to win against better opponents. Good opponents will take away the hot shooter and normally size wins the rebounding battle. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Hopefully we keep it close with a chance to win at the end of the game. Quote
coachacola Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 14-11 TCU after about 12 minutes. LU started 3 freshmen and 2 sophomores. Quote
coachacola Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 LU down by 9 at the half. They kept it pretty close until the last few minutes. Quote
geezer Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 Had to watch a replay, but the Cards fared better than I expected. Buckley needs to clean up the turnovers, and Calmese needs to get back to making shots. Calmese had a big scoring night in the exhibition but has shot poorly in both of the games that count. Quote
