Ladies fell behind early, going down by double figures in the first quarter and although managed to tie the game with under a minute left in the game were never able to get the lead. It was a close game with Lamar down by three with eight and a half minutes left in the half, but then cold shooting, Bulajic picking up his second foul and for me just less energy from Lamar than NSU the Cards out scored 21-9 over the last part of the half. Cards managed to chip away after the half to get as close as three, before turnovers, some poor transition defense and their shooting percentage falling back off the hot streak they were on coming out of the half.
