geezer Posted April 19, 2023 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Cards win 9-6 at TCU. Hail gets the win, he came in in the bottom of the fourth with no one out and the bases loaded. Hail allowed one run to score on a sacrifice fly before striking out the next two batters to get Lamar out of the inning with a one run lead. Hail pitched three more innings giving up one more run after Lamar stretched the lead to 9-5 to get the win. Mostly typical mid-week pitching plan for Lamar using a total of eight pitchers.
