geezer Posted September 12 Share Posted September 12 Week three opens Thursday evening with Northwestern St taking on FBS South Alabama. Probably a blowout win for South Alabama. Notable games this week include UIW versus Southern Illinois, Nicholls at Sacramento St and SELA versus Eastern Washington unless something happens to this game as a result of hurricane Franciene. geezer Posted September 13 Author Share Posted September 13 Not sure what to think about Lamar this week. Texas St played Arizona St to a three-point loss and had chances to win it and defeated UTSA soundly last week which would make you think a little higher of Lamar, but last week Lamar probably should have won by a bigger margin and then there were all the penalties. Commerce is tied with Grambling. UIW defense unable to stop Southern Illinois offense. UIW down by three touchdowns at the half. SFA and McNeese are scoreless in the second quarter. Nicholls trailing Sacramento St 24-0 with two minutes left in the first half at Sacramento.
