LU improved to 2-1 on the season beating Weber St 17-16 at home on Saturday night! 
if you look at SLC standings McNeese is #1 and our own Lamar Cardinals are #2. A quick look at the standings LU by winning percentage should be #1. That’s okay. It’s good to see LU doing well. 

LU is ranked 25 in the country!

When you look at conference standings, they are sorted by conference games first and overall record second.

That’s just one voter’s ballot but I get the sentiment. Offense needs plenty of work, but let’s enjoy the great win today!

Getting recognized is nice, but what ranking does the selection committee use.  I don't think the FCS Coaches Pole is updated yet.

The Massey Composite ratings page usually doesn't reflect all the latest polls and rankings until midweek.  But right now LU is a 45, still behind UIW but now ahead of Nicholls after their big loss.

Coaches Poll is out.  Lamar is ranked tied for 31st by number of votes, one spot behind Weber State who we just beat. McNeese is ranked 33rd.  It would be great to see the last game of the year against McNeese in Lake Charles to be two ranked teams playing for the SLC championship.

FYI, as of this morning, LU is 45th in the Massey ratings with a big move up.  Weber State is ranked 17th in Massey.
