Cards have a good opening weekend winning three games before falling to UT.  Even in the UT game Lamar managed to get out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second and held the lead through the third inning before Texas got a home run in the top of the fourth to tie the game.  Texas added two in the fifth, three in the sixth and seven in the seventh to fall behind 13-1.  Lamar manages to score six runs in the bottom of the seventh against the third and fourth pitchers of the game for Texas but still fall 13-7.  Overall, a successful weekend for the Cards.

They were bouncing home from lafayette.  Also stopped in huntsville.
