geezer Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Lamar takes opening game of final conference series of the year 4-3 in ten innings at UIW. UIW got out to a two run lead in the bottom of the first. The teams each scored a run in the third. The score sat there until Lamar got a two out home run in the top of the seventh to tie the game. Smith pitched eight and a third innings before giving way to Guidry. Lamar got the go ahead run a two out hit in the tenth. For UIW Jacquez pitched all ten innings with thirteen strikeouts on the day. Quote
geezer Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 In the second game on Saturday, UIW scores three in the first and three in the third before Lamar scores six in the fourth to tie the game. The game will go scoreless then until UIW gets a walk off hit in the bottom of the seventh to end the game. Quote

geezer Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Lady Cards fall 4-0 to UIW in the opening game of the SLC Tourney. Cards will play ETA&M tomorrow at 3 PM in an elimination game. Quote
geezer Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 Ladies keep their season alive with a 6-5 win over E TA&M. Evening game between UIW and McNeese postponed due to weather. Will need to see how that affects game time tomorrow. Quote
