BigRedHoops Posted March 4 Posted March 4 We love to bitch and moan about coaching, etc, but often don’t give props where it’s due. Lamar may have lost some games they should have won, but overall Brooks has done a very nice job with this program. They have improved every single year under his leadership. And he’s a guy that’s committed and loyal to the University. He didn’t do much right while he was here, but Marco made a very nice hire with Alvin Brooks. Quote

Saturday night against McNeese was like a game back in the 80s or 90s. It starts with defense and this team defends. he finally has enough players keep fresh defenders on the floor at all times. All we need to do is raise a half million or so a year for Cardinal hoops to match what McNeese is paying their players and he will have a much better chance to go from 2nd in conference to first… Quote
