NorthoftheBorder Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Disappointing! WB and OL play was our Achilles heel in this game. Lack of offensive prodyput to much pressure on the D. Nobody agrees with me, but I would stick with McCown the rest of the way, however long that is. Quote
NorthoftheBorder Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Rossomando has a big challenge to get them up for next week! A win by McNeese would be their season. We still may make the playoffs, but we will be traveling if we do! Quote

geezer Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago The difference I see between McCown and Coleman at qb is McCown is better under pressure at either getting a pass off or avoiding the big sack. After McCown's initial possession effort, he started hitting some passes and getting some positive yards when he was pressured with the pass rush. Looking at next week, RGV came back and defeated McNeese after going down 10-0 in the first quarter. Next week is a game that Lamar should win if they show up and play. The fact that Lamar probably has to win to get a play off spot should help motivate them. Quote
