geezer Posted Thursday at 02:38 AM Author Posted Thursday at 02:38 AM Lamar women stepped out of conference against Prairie View A&M this evening Dec 17th and win going away 72-59. Lamar started out strong and were on their way to a potential blowout before Denly went out with an ankle injury. To add insult to the injury Taylor also went down with an injury early in the second quarter. With neither Denley or Taylor in the game for most of the second quarter PV was able to trim the Lamar lead to two points at the half. Taylor was able to return in the second half, and her presence enabled Lamar to again take control even though she really wasn't 100%. Cards win 72-59. Quote
