Both games are big ones with the women tied for second in the conference one game back of McNeese. The men are a little further back of first place SFA and must win if they want a chance to climb back to the top or at least be in the top four when the conference tournament gets here. Quote
geezer Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Ladies get a hard fought ten-point win over the Lady Jacks 73-63. Cards defense was solid and held SFA under their scoring average. Wilson was the leading scorer with 29 points followed by Denley with ten points as the only two Lamar players in double figures. Lamar had a 43-26 edge in rebounding. Quote

SFA has been shooting an outstanding 63% from the field on nine of fourteen three point attempts. Many of those have been with a hand in their face. Lamar is shooting a reasonable 41%. Quote
