LAZEEK Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I hate to say it, but I think LU would have been much better off this year had Jeremy Johnson stayed and played QB this year!!! Quote

geezer Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I don't know if Moss is the answer, but Berry cannot pass under any kind of pressure. Until we start completing some passes we are going to see the same problems. For those that thought we played bad last week, Sam beat SELA 70-0. Quote
geezer Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Penalties are killing us again. Gave up a late 2q TD again because of penalties. Quote
AceHigh Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I don't know if Moss is the answer, but Berry cannot pass under any kind of pressure. Until we start completing some passes we are going to see the same problems. I agree with you. We have nothing to lose. Give Moss a shot tonight, maybe he's got the hot hand. Quote
LUSportsFan Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 At the half. SFA scored again. Now 27-6 Penalties killed us. In the last series, we had a good stop on SFA's drive, but were flagged for roughing the passer on a 3rd and 10 play. Without the penalty, SFA would have lost one yard and would have needed to punt. Oh well ... SFA 1st down. During SFA's drive, we had an Offsides giving SFA another 1st down to keep the drive alive. SFA accepts the gifts and scores. Penalties LU 7 for 63 yards SFA 0 for 0 Passing Berry 5 for 14 17 yards (lost a yard on the last pass) Rushing - Garrett 14 for 47 yards, Harris 6 for 28 yards Kickoff Returns - 6 for 179 Quote
