  1. UNT beat Washington State 59-10.
  2. McCown is starting the next game with Coleman hurt.
  3. Defense won the game. The offense needs to vastly improve for them to have a good season. Wasn't the new OC retired or something? Right now LU doesn't have much of a passing game. Wasn't a big fan of Woodard but seems he usually recruited some good receivers.
  4. SFA just joined the A&M system too. I don't think LU is going anywhere.
  5. One step forward, two steps back. That's the motto of Lamar athletes.
  6. https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/lamar-university-men-s-basketball-coach-alvin-21028645.php Which probably means 3 more years of winning around 20 games but never making the tournament.

  9. They need better pitching, that's for sure. Their relatively easy schedule made them appear better than they actually were.
  10. QB Robert Coleman will be back for another year. Something about a new ruling affecting JUCO transfers.
  11. Didn't the pitching coach move on to Baylor after last year? Seems like the pitching isn't as good this year.
  12. This team is good at beating the weak teams but can't beat the good teams.
  13. Another season ending slump by the Cards.
