    TSU might be a little better than we thought. Their on line was big. And their secondary was feisty. The penalties and one dimensional offense is concerning. If Longino is going to be the QB, coach has to find some pass plays that they both feel comfortable with.

    That was embarrassing for Northwestern. One can only hope last week was a case of playing down to the competition. I think the Cardinals are going to play a good game this weekend. Let’s get the win and get ranked!

    Lamar should be on the phone every day trying to get back into the Sun Belt conference. We have already been left behind. Our so called sister schools have so much more national recognition and growth, while we are an afterthought in the TSU system Both of those schools were smaller than Lamar and didn’t even compete in DI sports for most of their history and yet they have passed us up Just shameful No one in Beaumont has done anything bold since Captain Lucas and Patillo Higgins went to Spindletop.

    Overall, it seems the SLC is just a step behind the UCA. I think our teams would fare well in their league and vice versa, but for now both groups look like one bid leagues. Gotta hope our conference finishes non conference strong to shore up the ratings

    Should be a win. Hopefully we get to better start than last week. The only only thing that could make this interesting is if it’s a monsoon in South Park. Other than that, should be Lamar by how many points they want.

    The team didn't fold when they had every chance to after that retched start. Maybe this team can do something. Great job by coach in making halftime adjustments.and keeping the team focused. I know there's no moral victories, but we did win the second half.

    If we are going to be stuck in the SLC for a while, getting UCA back in the fold, reeling in Tarleton State and kicking out some of the Louisiana schools would go a long way in improving the perception of the league.

    Third place has to be the minimum goal for a good season; second or championship is icing on the cake.

    They will always be SWT to me. They lied to us when we were forced into the TSU system by claiming we would be a system of equals. Only of SWT and Prison U to get special treatment every step of the way. Yeah, were going to lose this game but only because the state has stacked the odds against us.
