    I like what I saw from Holifield. A stretch forward in the SLC at 6’10 is incredibly rare. Think about the mismatches he can create if he draws the opponent’s biggest defender. He can open up the paint for Hamilton or our slashers (Marmelejos, Jackson, Pennebaker). Of course, he has to continue to shoot it well. Between Hamilton, Holifield, White, Dixon and the freshman, East, this is the longest Lamar team I have ever seen.

    Exhibition game blahhhh glorified scrimmage with 3 starters essentially out and brand new team. The new guys were encouraging. Was Errol White sick? He’s pretty much the energizer bunny and needs to fill Terry Anderson’s minutes (although he lacks the 3).

    Man, y’all sound like you been drinking some of those chemicals being released at Motiva. We’re winning games (!!) with our backup QB (!!) and still obviously have a long way to go until we play our best football (!!) Take a chill pill & kick back. I still think 8 wins is in sight. Rossomando will get this group disciplined. We do need a QB, who wants to buy one?

    A win is a win!! What a big one tonight. Resiliency was on full display. They definitely didn’t play their best ball but still came away with the W. I am so excited to see what this team has left in store!

    Need to see a step forward on offense, more balance although I loved the efficiency of our running game but we need to play more complementary football. It’s Frisco or busy, baby!! Pete’s taking this group to the moon, buckle up Cardinals!!
