The Lady Cardinals game starts at 5:30 pm. The men's game starts 30 minutes following the Ladies game no later than 7:30 pm according to lamarcardinals.com.

Lamar (11-8 overall, 6-2 Southland) enters the week in second place in the conference, just a half-game behind league-leading Central Arkansas. Lamar has 10 regular-season games remaining, with seven of those at home.

 

Thursday's game is Throwback Thursday. Student organizations will have the opportunity to win cash prizes based on attendance, creativity, school spirit and participating in the Throwback Thursday theme.

The conference clash with HBU is a game between two teams looking to make a late surge up the Southland Conference standings. The Cardinals are 2-18 on the season and tied with HBU for 13th in the conference standings with a 1-7 record. Lamar just recently ended a 14-game slide with their eight-point victory at Abilene Christian.

I hate these boys following the girls games. Yes, it should help attendance both ways, but it also puts games starting at almost 8:00 on a school night. IMO, that hurts attendance for fans with kids.
