bigred360 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Looks like an event which they can build on each year. Quote
Big Red Pride Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 It is great to see James Gulley on campus supporting the program. He is one of the all time great players. The mid day madness looked like a successful event. Hopefully, there will be good attendance at the Tip Off Breakfast on Saturday morning. Quote
NorthoftheBorder Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 One of the funny things that I remember about James was a BE or PA News story that said Foster's assistant coaches had to check his pockets routinely for his stash of snacks that could include fried chicken and such! He was a great player and a joy to watch and held his own againt the Mailman Karl Malone!! Quote
coachacola Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 If I remember correctly James Gulley was being recruited by 50 or so schools. In this day and age it'll be very hard for LU to land a player of his caliber. He was fun to watch and he had a very smooth shot for a big guy. Quote
geezer Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 My understanding is that Gulley wanted to be close to home. Malone was a junior when Gulley was a freshman. Quote
lu cards Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 gulley had the best baseline jumper ever !!! Quote
