Big T
Defense needs to step it up. Other than that, Big Red has looked very good.
Big T
I'm also liking the line up. Good to see LeMon and Sears getting some playing time and being productive. Still don't understand why Preston is getting so many minutes.

eagle eye
Lamar is acquitting themselves very well. As the TV announcer said when LU got down by 17 in the 2nd half they could've folded up the tents and packed it in but they have been hanging tough. I lost the signal on Directv because of the confounded rain but Lamar had just scored to get within 9 with around 4 minutes left. I told anyone who would listen not to judge by a couple of games. LU is doing very well against a storied program in a big time basketball conference like the Big Ten. LU shooting 56% in the second half. Go Cards! LamarKA1865
If not for a few mental errors and turnovers early, Lamar may have been able to pull off an upset tonight. Looking good!

eagle eye
LU is learning to play together. We lost by 13 but it was a better game than the score would suggest. Well done, Cards! LU took a team that is now 4-0 to the limit and tonight's performance is way better than anyone, or very few, thought it would be. Lamar was strong on the boards and they shot a lot better this game especially in the 2nd half. Job well done. If a loss can be considered a victory that this has to qualify. Don't give up on these Cards just yet. And the football team beat McNeese? Boo-yah!!!!!

geezer
The matchup was much better than the SMU game. Indiana doesn't have the size that SMU did so the LU big guys were able to compete a lot more. If this team continues to improve they may get a win or two before conference that I wasn't expecting. The ASU game will another game against a team with several upperclassmen that are over 6-9. Looking forward to how LU handles the size this time around. LUSportsFan
Nice to see Bosha warm up on the three. He was 4 of 7 on the night. In three's, he was one away from the leading freshman scorer in the nation this year, James Blackmon, Jr. (at 5-7), according to the Big Ten Network announcers. Overall, the team three point shooting percentage is low at 21.7%. The Cards shot around 50% from the field also. Things to work on are turnovers (we had 12) and allowing the easy basket. All in all, it would be worth making a trip to the Montagne if for no other reason than to watch de Lattibeaudiere (#5), but from what I saw on the TV broadcast, there was very good play from several players. Icing on the cake is when the team clicks. At times, I thought we looked very good. Although the Cards came out on the short end of the score, they made a very good showing. Looks like this is going to be a fun team to watch particularly on the home court. Edited November 23, 2014 by LUSportsFan

coachacola
Indiana’s defense was a cause for concern in Saturday’s win against Lamar. At one point in the second half, the Hoosiers surrendered seven straight buckets to the Cardinals. We’ll take a look at what what wrong during that run in the latest edition of Film Session: http://www.insidethehall.com/2014/11/25/film-session-lamar/
