LAZEEK
The Cardinals look to extend their 3 game winning streak, as they take on the Huston-Tillotson Rams tonight in the comfy confines of the Montagne Center. The Cards have 4 game winning streak in the Bird's Nest this season. The Cards also have a chance to move back to .500 on the season going into conference play, which begins play this Saturday against Nicholls State. Lamar is led by senior Tyran de Lattibeaudiere who is averaging 14.9 PPG this season, while averaging 7.9 RPG also. Come out and support the Cardinals tonight at 7:00pm!!!! geezer
Final score LU 85 Houston-Tillitson 59. Cards did what they were supposed to, score could have been bigger but it looked like Price slowed the team down once the game was secure and made them run through the offense before shooting. Still a lot to work on for LU, but again if price is able to improve the recruiting class next year, and we are eligible for post season LU should have a good shot at getting to the conference tourney next year. geezer
I don't think Tic was real happy with the 2nd half defense as he wanted to hold Hou-Til to under fifty but he did call off the offense as I saw him several times stop a fast break opportunity and make the guard set up the half court offense.
