Of the 12 conference home and home games four are with the current conference leaders (SFA and SAM) two are with the current third place team ACU and the other six are with teams with a worse conference record than Lamar including McNeese who Lamar hasn't beaten in Lake Charles in more than ten years. Tyran played a strong game particularly in the second half finishing with a double-double. Gregory and Hollis did their job plugging up the paint and rebounding. Still a lot of room for improvement but the season is encouraging at this point. LU is 10 and 8 overall and 4 and 2 in conference. Play at HBU Saturday evening. Quote

The key is winning the home games other than Sam and SFA and getting at least one of the road games at HBU, IW, ACU and McNeese. Hopefully LU can go two and two out of those four. It may be a lot to expect but 17 wins is with in reach at this point. Quote
