LUSportsFan Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 VENUE CHANGE Moved to Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, TX from acusports.com The ACU Wildcats will try to snap their longest losing streak of the season Monday night when they take on Lamar in a neutral-site game at the Culwell Center in Garland. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Moody Coliseum, but the site of the game had to be moved because of ACU's annual Sing Song production has taken over the coliseum. puddin tane Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 They lost the gym to " Pitch Perfect"? Quote
geezer Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Lamar leading by eight 40 to 32. Booze has 25 first half points. Quote
geezer Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 LU up by eighteen at the under 12 minute time out. Quote
geezer Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Lamar wins 80 - 61. Booze leads the way with 35 points. Important win for LU as it gets them back to even for the season and for conference. Six games left for the Cards with four of them at home. Four games we should have good chances of winning McNeese twice HBU and IW and two left with the conference leaders. Quote
lamar1 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Did Beverly Sills perform the aria?. Wth? they deserve to lose. Only in the SLC What was the attendance? What is Sing Song? SMH. When are Lamar, SFA,SHSU going to leave this rag tag collection of so called Division I schools. Sing Song or it's like needs to takeover HBU's Sharp gym permanently please Quote
jdcurran235 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 so your saying you dont like the southland???? Quote
lamar1 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Not much commitment in league as general statement. Where else but in this league would Sing Song boot the basketball team from their arena or gym.. Where else but HBU would there be a worse facilty than Sharp Gym? Who else but SFA and maybe Lamar would 1000 fans even show for a division 1 basketball game. Sam Houston is pretty good and no one attends those gmaes. Most high schools outdraw Nicholls State. Either fish or cut bait really Quote
puddin tane Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I was liking the addition of ACU until this....what a joke. Never liked the addition of HBU. Quote
LUSportsFan Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 According to the ACU site, this is the 59th occurrence of the Sing Song which will be held this weekend. Just wondering why that wasn't factored into the original basketball season scheduling unless they didn't factor in the required set up time. http://www.acu.edu/events/singsong/index.html Quote
