We have to eliminate the tic tac penalties altogether, play like we are under controll. Need a big defensive stop to start the 2nd half and then go score. Quote

Yes but that intentional grounding was bullshit. Just because our intended receiver was being buried (which is legal as long as he's behind the line of scrimmage) doesn't mean he's not in the area. But the other 47 penalties need to be addressed Quote

I'm surprised by that. For the second half I don't want to see the team give up and let Baylor score at will. Quote

What would the score be if Lamar didn't have nearly 100 yards in penalties. Not much in favor of moral victories but at this point I hope the cards can keep Baylor under control in the 2nd half and keep Baylor under 70. Also unless Tebo is 95% or better LU needs to keep him on the bench to heal up for next week when it counts. Quote

And these type of penalties have hounded the cards every season. I think those are more statements of fact than complaining, but it is something that the coaching staff should be able to correct by now. Quote

geezer Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Good drive by Lamar to get another touchdown. Overall pleased with the offense. I know I'm a pessimist until Lamar proves me wrong but I didn't think there was any way LU could put up 31 points even with the turnovers by Baylor. The next two games should be interesting. Based on what Sam Houston did last week against Tech and this game Lamar should definitely be in the ball game next week against Sam. Quote
