geezer Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Lamar blowing out UT-RGV (Pan American) 52-26 at the 16 minute point of the 2nd half. Chatman seems to be coming into his own at the D-1 level. Seems to be improving each game. Nick Garth is playing well also, he was the leading scorer in the game at half time. Quote
Skinny1 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 UT-RGV (formerly Pan American University) was not a really bad team. They looked talent-wise like a typical bottom half SLC team. They only suited out 10 players and played U of Houston Monday night, so they did get worn down in the 2nd half. It didn't help them that the ref's called it close and they played a match-up zone most of the game, and this put them in foul trouble. The Lamar freshman seem to be coming around, especially on defense. Good offensive ball movement in the 1st half, but too much dribbling & standing around in the second. Sears showed he could be a force on both ends of the court with the right match-ups. Quote
