** LU at Abilene Christian Game Thread **

Baller you are probably correct that LU will get to go to the tourney because other teams that may have a better record than us can't go because of NCAA rules. I think Skinny 1 and I are both looking at it from the stand point of will LU deserve to be there by having one of the top 8 records in the conference. Unless something changes dramatically LU is going to have a hard time gaining enough ground to overtake UCA and McNeese to get to the actual 8th spot. Are you really excited about being the #8 seed in a bottom of the barrel one bid NCAA basketball conference? It looks like best case LU winds up with a 13 and 17 record for the year. Central Ark isn't eligible because they didn't comply with NCAA rules on APR something we corrected .They were advantaged by not following the rules thus are paying the price .Incarnate Word and Abilene recruited under slightly different academic requirements which is one reason for the transition period of ineligibility for tournament play.Tic Price has had one real recruiting class and his best recruits are freshman.It is tough to win on the road with a number of freshman starting at our level.If they don't win 2 of three upcoming home games I will be disappointed but still optimistic for next year.
