KABrother88 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Coach Woodard has confirmed that X-Rays revealed that Kade broke his foot last night. They have an MRI set up for tomorrow to further evaluate severity...regardless, with only 5 regular season games left and past the medical redshirt threshold, we could have very well seen the last of #8 squirting around. geezer Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 That will be a shame for him personally if last night was his last game in a Cardinal uniform as it may affect his future. I think based on the running attack last night after Kade's injury the future of the Cards running game is promising. I know the Cards were behind which forced them to open up the offense, but without Kade to lean on maybe the offense is opened up a little earlier. Best wishes to Kade no matter what happens the rest of this year. I think he may still be the first Cardinal with a real chance to get to the next level since the program was restarted. Obviously he is on the small side but his work ethic and break away speed may be good enough to get him on a NFL team as a special team guy. Quote

Skinny1 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Sorry to hear that for Kade's sake. Will be interesting to see how the Cards respond. Next man up. Quote
geezer Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Looking down the line in the is it possible wish list, does the remainder of the season mean "regular season" or does it include "post season" if LU were to have the most optimistic out come in the remaining five game? Bones usually heal in about six to eight weeks. Oh wait I was the first one on the other post to say I didn't think LU could make the post season with three or four losses. Quote
KABrother88 Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 The MRI today revealed torn ligaments as well making surgery necessary...recovery time is 3-4 months before he can even begin football activity again. Quote
eagle eye Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 It's a shame for a kid that's as good a person as he is a player. Hopefully, the Cards can continue to win without him. Quote
