Mens Basketball Adds a Sr Transfer

Saw on the LamarCardinals.com site that Price has added a graduate transfer from La Tech for this year. The player is listed as Da'Shawn Robinson, a 6-3 guard who was injured early last year and appears to have gotten a medical redshirt as he played two years at Navarro and one year at Tech prior to last season. Price indicated that he had tried to get him coming out of Juco but Robinson chose Tech instead. The 2017-18 team will have several seniors but still only one who has spent all four years in Beaumont.

Verbal Commits has JUCO PG Vince Holmes signing with Lamar. That's 3 guards, and they are all big, either 6'4 or 6'5. Kolawole will probably have to sit out a year since he's transferring from a 4 year school.
