Halftime and Lamar is still up by seven at 36 - 29 fut it has been an up and down half. Lamar's largest lead has been eleven points. Not a real good shooting performance to this point as LU is shooting 37% from the field and 50% from the free throw line. The bright side is LU is 50% from the three point line. Lamar is leading in rebounds but has nine turnovers. Individually Weisbrod is just 1 of 8 from the field and has not attempted a free throw. Harrison is leading the way with eleven points but those were all early in the game.

Women are up by 14 at the half at HBU.

Cards win by eighteen 86 - 68. It's always good to win the opening game of conference. Nest game at A7M Corpus Christi. Personally though I am glad for the win I didn't feel like Lamar played their best game, but it is hard to say what they didn't do well, as they basically won in all areas of the stats. For the most part I really liked how we played tonight. We played very smart basketball (while HBU did not). Man, and Harrison, that guy can shoot!
