Jack Dallas, a former two-time state champion quarterback at West Orange-Stark High School, has been removed from the Lamar University football roster.

I looked at the online roster and saw a couple of transfers from UTSA.

Probably a smart move on his part. Based on the last two years football he wasn't going to be playing and if he wants a shot at a pro career in baseball he needs to improve his game there. If he was going to play football it would probably have prevented him from going somewhere to play summer baseball and it would definitely interfere with fall baseball practice.
