This past weekend, MVS lost to Tennessee State, 20-26. According to the offensive stats, MVS couldn't run the ball worth a darn but they sure were willing to pass it. MVS rushing stats were 18 for 42 yards and 1TD. MVS passing stats were 27/52 for 205 yds and 1 TD. We'll see.

Sorry, 205 yds passing against TN State doesn't make me think we'll find out much about our secondary. I guess we may find out if they are awful (if we give up a lot of passing yards)

To me, it was not the yardage but the numbers of passes thrown, which was 52. Bethel was only 4/20. MVS was 27/52 but not much yardage.
