Lamar takes the early lead on a 19 yard Hoy run with about 5:30 left in the first quarter. So far the defense has stopped SLU on their first two possesions.

SLU offense comes alive and moves 75 yards in about four minutes to tie the game.

LU completes a long pass to the tight end Robinson to the SLU six yard line. Where did that come from? End of first quarter game tied at 7.

LU defense gives up a 58 yard catch and run for SLU to tie the game up again at 14 with 13:40 left in the first half.

5:44 left in the first half and Hoy hits Allen for his second TD throw of the game. This score follows a SLU pass interception of Hoy and a stop by Lamar's defense.

SLU blocks a Lamar punt and gets the ball on the LU 18. First play goes for a 14 yard run and then on a second and goal complete a touchdown pass to tie the game with 1:24 left in the first half.

Giffen kicks a 38 yard field goal with 10 seconds left in the half to take a 24-21 lead. Hoy has 219 yards passing and 35 yards rushing.

Defense....looked better in first half vs aggy...in my opinion

SLU stops LU on the first possession of the second half then move the ball through the air to take the lead with 9:59 left in the third quarter.

Dam...punter holds the ball toooo long

Lamar goes three and out on their 2nd possesion of the second half. LU has had four of the five OL starters leave the field at some point during the game with at least minor injuries.

SLU completes fifty yard TD pass on the first play following the short punt after the LU three and out to take a 35-24 lead.
