Atwood Garners Preseason Recognition

Featured Replies

Congratulations to Mr Garner. I'm not much of a Basketball follower but looking over the roster it seems that LU has a big group of big guys, more than usual. Is this true or have I not been paying attention?
I think the physical height of the team has increased over the last few years. It seemed like for years LU had 5'10" starting guards playing against 6' and taller guards. No matter what the players percentages were in high school playing against somebody of similar skill but taller almost every night has to hurt their shooting percentage. Congrats to T.J. Hope he is able to have a very successful senior season.

Agree with your statement in addition the length also helps defensively as smaller guards trying to shoot over them. I noticed only two players under 6'3 on the roster. One listed at 5'10 and one at 6'0.
