Marcel Johnson starts at QB for Lamar. LU moving the ball steadily on their first possesion. Cards drive stalls out at the NSU 20 yard line and Giffen kicks a field goal for a 3-0 lead with 7:22 left in the first quarter.

End of 1st quarter and NSU up 7-3. Lamar attempts one pass in the first quarter. Not too surprising since Schultz isn't a run and gun offensive coach and LU has a QB that was playing WR last week.

Wonder if Schultz would consider asking Dallas to finish the year out if Givens and Shane Johnson can't get back from their injuries? You know he is at least in baseball shape.

This is tough to watch.offense can’t function when there isn’t a chance of a pass.

Other SLC games today. SFA upsets UIW, Southeastern La upsets UCA, Slam defeats ACU and Nicholls defeats HBU. Now a four way tie for 1st place, not sure who currently has the tie breaker or what the FCS selection committee will think.

Whew...hard to watch. 2 really bad teams.

We have attempted 4 passes in the first half. I think when I was 11 years old we attempted 4 passes in a half. This is against a 1 win team. Someone earlier said maybe Schultz would ask Dallas to come back and finish the year. Why would he want to play for a loser like Schultz. If we win this game, it will be because our D continued to outscore the O. NSU defensive coordinator is laughing at us saying LU offense sucks.

Hard to criticize the QB play, but we might not win another game this season.
