Thanks for posting the schedule. I am surprised it is already finished. Obviously, Coach Morgan didn't have a hand in putting this schedule together.

Dang..wish the Sam game was earlier in the season when fans still showed up

Maybe people will be more interested in a game versus Sam as opposed to HBU or IW at that point in the season. Also looking at the schedule it might be a little of a strech but LU could be at 5-4 going into that game. Would probably require winning all of the previous home games, but heck who knows. I'll be the ultimate optomist at least until game two.

I am encouraged that we are playing no D2 or NAIA schools. I hope this trend continues, and migrates to men’s and women’s basketball Schedules too. Lamar fans deserve it!

i think miss college would be the better team out of the two

C'mon, The guy hasn't even announced a staff. He's probably still in SoCal. However, I do like what I see and optimism plus a little success is contagious. I would bet that he produces a better record than last year. If he can coach up or bring in a QB, all bets are off and you may see that 5-4 mark.

 

Then again, What do I know, I'm still burping up crow, from last year.

We have no QB, no playmakers on offense, and a subpar defense. I think Dultz not only was a poor coach but an even worse recruiter. I rarely saw any receivers get separation. Idk, maybe the talent is out there and he just didn’t use it. I hope I’m wrong but I see 3-6, at best, rather than 5-4.
