geezer Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 Northern Colorado comes into this game with a 1-1 record. They lost to the University of Colorado and defeated Houston Baptist so far. They are an FCS school out of the Big Sky Conference. Game time is 3:00 PM CT. Looking at their roster they seem to have a large number of freshmen similar to Lamar. Should be a good check on where Lamar's program is really at. Quote

NorthoftheBorder Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 My prediction, LU loses and Morgan does not speak to the LU media about the teams performance. Quote
geezer Posted September 16, 2021 Author Posted September 16, 2021 My prediction, LU loses and Morgan does not speak to the LU media about the teams performance. Not sure there will be any LU media to talk to. I forget which night it is, but he does have a coach's show with Harold Mann each week. Do you expect the Bmt Enterprise or the Port Arthur News is sending anyone up to cover the game. Quote

puddin tane Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Similar programs. Both have new coaches, both have a crapola history in football. Looks like mccaffey hired all his high school coaching buds. Normally id say thats a disadvantage. But we run a high school offense NoCo 37 LU 0 Quote
geezer Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Lamar opens with a good drive, but ends at the UNC 36 with a Lamar fumble. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Defense holds. Lamar offense takes over at the Cardinals 12 yard line. Quote
geezer Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 (edited) Lamar defense allows one first down, but then forces UNC to punt. Lamar's 2nd drive will start for the LU 11. Lamar goes three and out. A good punt by the Cards and good coverage turns the ball over to UNC at there 45. Edited September 18, 2021 by geezer Quote
