KABrother88 Posted December 23, 2013 Share Posted December 23, 2013 According to the Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold team Lamar has an offer out to Nederland WR/DB Colton Kimler...really good football player and by that I mean he can do a lot...had 875 yards and 9 TDs on just 42 receptions (21 yards per catch) and hauled in 6 INTs (4 in the final game of district against Central that decided who won the DC) as a Senior, 411 yards and 4 TDs on 23 receptions (18 yards per catch) with 6 INTs as a Junior, and 347 yards and 3 TDs on 26 receptions with an INT as a Sophomore. So 1633 yards on 91 receptions (18 yards per catch) with 16 TDs and 13 picks in his 3 seasons...has good size at 6'-2" and 210 lbs and if he's picking off a pass on defense he doesn't shy away from contact. The one negative I've heard is he might not be interested at playing at the next level...but don't mistaken that for lack of passion cause I've watched him play for these last 3 years and you almost never saw I'm not in the game...hopefully I'll get to see him for 4 more years in the red and white... He was a freshman this season and I didn't see any statistics for him so he may have possibly redshirted. He had some family issues so he grayshirted in 2012 and was a true freshman this past year. AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.)He entered the fall listed third at the "X" receiver position and in the mix for playing time; he caught six passes for 104 yards (17.3 per) and two touchdowns in spring scrimmage action. A member of the 2012 recruiting class, he participated in August camp for the first 12 days, but needed to return home because of family issues and delayed his enrollment until January, thus becoming a "grayshirt." He's from the Dallas area and was a Rivals 3-star recruit.
