I know it doesn't matter at this point bu I'm curious, why was the offense so awful? Dropped passes? Poor QB play? Poor play calling/design? Poor oline play?

Just for the record, Lamar loses to McNeese 41-10. I heard we finally score the TD when head coach Lance Guidry put the cheer squad in on defense in the game. This season, going a miserable 3-8, was hard to watch. The steps backwards are disturbing and the team never seemed into the game. They just rolled over and played dead as all they appeared to want to do was to bring this nightmare to a close. It really looked like Ray has lost the team. He so needs to go. It needs to be done soon so his successor has a fighting chance for next season.

If the coaching stay or go decision doesn't come down, in the next few days, then add the AD position to the list.

I went to the game and the offensive line made the McNeese defensive line look like a beast.To blame the QB play when the top two QB's are out is not fair.Also McNeese's offensive line protected their QB well and outplayed our D line.Our trenches have to get better.Any decisions on coaches often involve the university president.A number of Texas universities will probably replace their coaches as well as at least one Southland school in Louisiana.

McNeese wasn't playing for anything other than winning the game. Their coaching staff got them ready. Lamar wasn't ready to play and that's on the Lamar coaching staff.

How many dropped passes were there ? a lot. This was an issue at the beginning of the year. Ever who coaches next year has their work cut out for them.

LU was averaging 35 points in the first 4 conference games. After Harrington and Earp went down they averaged 15 points a game. Also noticed the defense got worse too. They were a one dimensional team and that was their downfall.
