Can Lamar pull the upset?

Some stats show a wide disparity between Lamar and Sam and some show that they are pretty close. It just doesn't seem, that Sam, is the big bad bully that they have been. We'll find out in 24 hours.

Yeah an upset is possible but I doubt it will happen. Overall Lamar had played better Southland teams than UIW had before last week so the touted upgrades in OL and DL strength made a difference. With a little bit of luck LU could have won at least one maybe two of their earlier games but I do think Sam is one of the top three SLC teams along with McNeese and UCA. I think this game might be similar to the Nicholls game in that Lamar may keep it close for a while but then Sam will pull away.
