They streamed a show from 9-11 on signing day before the press conference and Harold Mann interviewed Schultz. Schultz did mention Hoy in that interview. I believe basically what he said was McBride would battle with Hoy for the starting job. To me it sounded like Hoy will enter camp as the top guy but will still be an open competition.

I think he signed with Marshall but never went there.

A few surprises in the 20 signees. More than a few JUCO players (14). Also Wells (DB) from Beaumont United was not mentioned even though he was listed as a recent commit. Definitely concentrated on needs and size.

 

After watching Last Chance U, are we turning into Last, Last Chance U?

Looking at Jalen Wells’ Twitter account and he says he’s a DB at LU. Some sites have him as a 3 star recruit. I don’t seem him listed on the roster though.
