I hope Hoy gets a fair shot to start. He was a big part of our success last season. They streamed a show from 9-11 on signing day before the press conference and Harold Mann interviewed Schultz. Schultz did mention Hoy in that interview. I believe basically what he said was McBride would battle with Hoy for the starting job. To me it sounded like Hoy will enter camp as the top guy but will still be an open competition.

February 8, 20197 yr A few surprises in the 20 signees. More than a few JUCO players (14). Also Wells (DB) from Beaumont United was not mentioned even though he was listed as a recent commit. Definitely concentrated on needs and size. After watching Last Chance U, are we turning into Last, Last Chance U? Would like to see more freshman, but it is what it is....and we need db help
