And look at LU's next opponent, Miss Valley State, is last at 126. LU can probably win by 100 and not move much in the rankings next week. Sam lost to and FBS and UCA beats an FBS...but Sam jumped UCA. HBU loses to an FBS by 2 and drops 2. Once the season gets rolling and these computers start pulling more data in to their calculations I think they tend to be pretty close though. Maybe as a whole the conferences didn't play as many A&M quality teams, but they probably didn't play near as many Bethel's either. LU must win this coming Saturday to improve the computer rankings for everyone and come playoff time the SLC must win more playoff games than it looses. I think that the SLC gets two, in for sure, which would be Slammer and UIW. Central still has UIW, slammer, and SouthEastern; I don't think they make it. Nicholls still has to go to San Antonio and they may run into some trap games. If the SLC gets three in, that last spot is still up for grabs. My opinion is maybe but the SLC will need more than one team to advance to at least the second round of the playoffs and continue to improve non-conference scheduling.
